2009

7th febgroup of Swedish students from Lulea came together with their teachers to learn about the different water tests we perform.
9th feb Berit Lindahl [she will be staying about 3 weeks]

Swedish prof. Berit Lindahl has been one of the key persons to establish the Swacha Ganga Research Laboratory in 1993. She continues to be involved in development of the lab, such as encouraging Swedish students to do field projects on Ganges/ Varanasi. She also take part of updating the lab as well as analyzing its data research. She currently teaches Math’s and Biology at Arvika Collage.

She is also the mother of 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Together with her husband she is breeding a couple of Icelandic horses.
26th feb15 senior Swedes visit the laboratory and attend a lecture on water pollutions.
9th marSue & Collin Lennox from Oz Green Australia will visit Sankat Mochan Foundation. They will visit some schools according to the human chain.

Former volunteer Ms Angela Baker [Australia] will participate in the planning for the Education Center.
22th mara human chain will be formed from Assi Ghat to Varuna Confluence. The purpose is to strength the commitment to the river.
